Paksiw is one of the most common recipes of Filipinos. It is very easy to prepare with very minimal ingredients.
Ingredients:
1 Kg Bangus (milk fish) (chopped)
g. whole black pepper
2 green chili (haba)
3 pcs. minced garlic
1 big onion (chopped)
1 medium sized ginger (sliced)
80 ml vinegar
1 tsp. iodized salt
2 tbsp. oil
2 glass water
Procedure:
- Heat oil in a casserole.
- Saute ginger, garlic an onion.
- Add the bangus
- Add vinegar, black pepper an chili
- Add seasoning and water.
- Boil for 20 minutes
-Adjust seasoning if needed
Serve with rice
