Bulalo is one of Philippine's beef recipes. It is commonly served with rice during lunch but also good to be served as beef soup. The beef shank with bone marrow is the best part to cook bulalo because bone marrow will give your bulalo a very delicious soup. Beef can give us so much benefits like: protein,vitamins B1 and B6,organic beef is a good source of selenium and zinc,Omega 3 fatty acid, phosphorus and iron. Beef gives us so much health benefits because it is a good source of protein, minerals and vitamins that play very important roles in having a healthy diet.But I just want to give precautions for those who have a hyper-tension or high blood pressure. This recipe is also not recommended for people with high cholesterol because Bone marrow from cows contains around 120-150 mg of cholesterol (per 100 grams of marrow).

- 1 kg. beef shank with bone marrow attached
- 2 tbsp. oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 chopped onion
- potato or sweet potato (kamote)
- banana (saba)
- sweet corn chopped
- petchay
- cabbage
- 1 tbsp.whole black pepper
- salth
- fish sauce
Procedure:
- heat pan
- add oil
- saute garlic, onion and tomato
- add beef shank
- add black pepper and sweet corn
- add seasonings then cover for 2 hours.
- add potato or sweet potato
- add saba
- cover and leave for 20 minutes
- remove from heat the add vegetables then cover
- serve hot with rice
