Popping corn or better known as popcorn is a type of corn that expands from the kernel and puffs up when heated. Corn is able to puff because its kernels have a hard moisture-sealed hull and a dense starchy interior.This allows pressure to build inside the kernel until an explosive "pop" results. No doubt that pop corn is the most favorite snacks of people of any nation. Aside from being so yummy, you will surely enjoy eating every piece of it. You can have it plain or flavored.
In my home, my family always have a "popcorn hour" that's why I  should not run out of pop corn kernels at home. My kids love only two popcorn recipes: the barbeque and cheese flavored popcorn. It's so easy to make or cook popcorn, popcorn kernels can be found in every supermarket.


Ingredients in cooking popcorn:
  • popcorn kernels
  • vegetable oil or butter
  • cheese or barbeque powder
Procedure:
  • Put small amount of oil or butter on a dry pan
  • add popcorn kernel
  • cover
  • heat until the kernels pop.
  • shake while it pops
  • wait until all kernels popped
  • remove from heat
  • add flavors
